Local lakes
The area surrounding the lodge has several amazing lakes. Nearby Waugh Lake is a popular place for locals to enjoy the summer fun. Next closest is North Lake, then Klein Lake, a mountain lake great for fishing. Finally, Ruby Lake a crystal clear lake fed by thermal vents. These are just some of the lakes found near the lodge. More lakes will be found if you venture further away. Not only can lake water temperature reach 82F, but some of Canada's natural icons, notably the beaver and the loon, make these lakes their home.
