Our Sixth Annual Wine in the Wilderness

The staff here at the Lodge are looking forward to 2010.  For the past five years we have hosted a fun and unique weekend of excellent wine-tasting and fine dining in the heart of British Columbia's wilderness -- what could be better? 

Our sommelier is Doug Russell, the past president of the American Wine Society.  For the past five years, he has hosted an intimate wine festival where guests can explore exquisite and unique wines of both British Columbia and abroad, paired with gourmet dishes prepared by Executive Chef Chris Donnahee of West Coast Wilderness Lodge.

  • Friday night will feature international wines paired with delicious cuisine
  • Saturday afternoon is our always-popular Champagne Boat Cruise through the Skookumchuck Rapids
  • Saturday night will be a selection of award-winning B.C. wines with regional dishes chosen for their local ingredients
