Situated on the cliffs overlooking Sechelt Inlet, West Coast Wilderness Lodge offers a magical setting for your special day. With spectacular and pristine views and the privacy of having the entire resort dedicated to your wedding day, you and your guests will experience something that will surely last a lifetime.

We offer full service on site wedding coordination to make sure every detail is taken care of from the wedding ceremony itself to the reception, evening entertainment and more! In addition, we are more than pleased to attend to those special touches that will make your wedding unique.

The lodge is very well suited to weddings of all sizes. Our proximity to Vancouver, accommodation layout, deck and dining room facilities and opportunities for activities make us unique for destination weddings.

The Lodge

We have the capacity to host up to 60 overnight guests (double & triple occupancy) with additional accommodation available at other facilities in the area. Accommodation at the lodge consists of 5 mini lodges each one housing four private rooms. Please see our Accommodations site for more information.

Our dining room is certainly one of the main features of the lodge. This large timber space with vaulted ceilings and ocean views makes for a very special meal. Seating capacity is 130. When it comes to the menu we strive to provide you with a variety of fresh and delicious choices. Buffet and plated service are available. We are a fully licensed facility and offer a premium bar service.

Memorable Touches

Wine pairing, made by our sommelier, to compliment your chosen menu. Have a camp fire on the beach. Helicopter the wedding party to a local mountain peak to have wedding pictures taken in the alpine. Arrange a private island for that special retreat.

Winter Wedding in the Wilderness

We are now offering a Winter Wedding in the Wilderness from November to April This package includes accommodations for up to forty guests staying on site, the private use of the whole lodge for 24 hour period and Sunday morning breakfast. This package cost starts at $3,910.00 not including the wedding dinner or applicable taxes, gratuities, and alcohol.

6th Annual Wine in the Wilderness Special

2 Night Weekend Oct 17th & 18th, 2008

The staff at the Lodge are already looking forward to the fall of 2008. For the past five years we have hosted a weekend of tasting great wine and dinning in the wilderness what could be better. Doug Russell the past president of the American Wine Society is already tasting and selecting next years wine. Chef Chris Donnahee is also working on his ideas for the next gala.

West Coast Wilderness Lodge will be ten years old so this event will truly be special. Book early as we should be sold out before the summer is over.

Full breakfast for two each morning of your stay
Friday Night: International wine tasting paired with Inlet's special creations for dinner. Entertainment included
Saturday Night: BC's wine tasting paired with Inlet's special 7 course dinner. Entertainment included
A Champagne Boat tour Saturday afternoon: A three hour Inlet boat tour which includes sampling of three types Champagne/ Sparkling wine with appetizers. Our sommelier will be accompanying this outing. A wonderful opportunity to tour the local waters of the 3 Inlets that our restaurant is named for
