Our Sixth Annual Wine in the Wilderness
The staff here at the Lodge are looking forward to the fall of 2009. For the past five years we have hosted a fun and unique autumn weekend of excellent wine-tasting and fine dining in the heart of British Columbia's wilderness -- what could be better?Our host and sommelier is Doug Russell, the past president of the American Wine Society. He is already tasting and selecting next year's wines. Our executive chef Chris Donnahee is also working on some tasty ideas for the next gala.
- Friday night will feature international wines paired with delicious cuisine
- Saturday afternoon is our always-popular Champagne Boat Cruise through the Skookumchuck Rapids
- Saturday night will be a selection of award-winning B.C. wines with regional dishes chosen for their local ingredients
