Canoeing at the local lakes
The area surrounding the lodge has several amazing lakes including Waugh, Klein, North and Ruby Lake. Not only can lake water temperature in the summer reach 82F, but some of Canada's natural icons, the beaver and the loon make the lakes their home.
Spending the whole day at the lake is not uncommon; canoeing, swimming, picnicking, fishing and enjoying the scenery can definitely take you till dinner time.

Remote Mountain Lake Canoeing
Land by float plane in Phantom Lake, a glacial fed lake, and take advantage of the Alps of BC. This rugged wilderness area is located in the mountains north east of Sechelt, and south west of Whistler. Fly 20 minutes to arrive at this majestic mountain lake, in the heart of B.C.'s wilderness.
Like world famous Peyto Lake, in the Rocky Mountains, Phantom Lake too has an amazing turquoise color, caused from the rock flour (fine glacial debris) suspended in the water. Also like the Rocky Mountains our Tetrahedron area has a diverse wildlife population: grizzlies, cougars, and black bears are just some of the wildlife that calls this area home.
This unique canoe trip is a one of a kind experience on the Sunshine Coast.
